With proper care, your cashmere gets softer and more beautiful over age and use. We recommend the following care:

Hand wash your cashmere with a gentle wool detergent or baby shampoo.

  • Soak in a soapy lukewarm water (30 degree) for a few minutes
  • Gently squeeze the suds through the fibre, do not wring your cashmere
  • Rinse and repeat the massage in clean lukewarm water, squeeze to expel excess water
  • Reshape on a flat towel and let dry naturally, away from direct sunlight

It is also recommended to machine wash your cashmere in a gentle wool/hand wash cycle in a washing bag.

Woven cashmere/lambswool should only be dry-cleaned with care.

You will be surprised your cashmere gets softer with each wash.

Cover your cashmere with a piece of cloth and press with warm iron gently.

Fold neatly and place in a storage bag and store away from direct sunlight, humidity and dust.

Pilling or blobbing is an inherent characteristic of natural fibres. It is a result of wear and does not indicate the quality of your cashmere. To remove pilling, simply use a pilling comb. To avoid heavy pilling it is advisable to protect rubbing against rough materials and clothing accessories.

We hope that with these care tips, your cashmere will be cherished for a very long time.
